Builder
Description
We are currently looking to recruit experienced, time-served builders for one of our well-established partner building companies.
Desired Skills:
- Deliver a cost-effective repair solution in a timely and efficient manner
- Provide a high level of customer satisfaction
- Be an operative covering all aspects of commercial property repairs and maintenance
- Have a focus on general building, but having experience in carpentry and locks trades would be preferable also
- Preferably have previous experience working within the commercial property sector
Carpenter
Description
We are looking to recruit skilled Carpenters with a friendly and positive “can do” attitude.
Desired Skills:
You will attend to carpentry repairs and PPM duties, you will have the skills and expertise to be able to identify the problem(s) and find and fix issues within the NHS and Trust owned or run properties in the surrounding area.
You will have the ability to carry out varied carpentry duties to a competent standard.
You will be working in a team, and have the ability to undertake standalone tasks, with an emphasis on a quality finish, to meet with our customers high expectations.
You will conduct work in accordance with current legislation, British Standards Codes of Practice, safe systems of work and recognised industry standards to minimise damage to the fabric of the property and to create minimal disruptions to our patients and visitors.

Plasterer
Description
We are currently looking to recruit experienced, time-served plasterer for one of our well-established partner building companies.
Desired Skills:
The role will involve carrying out all aspects of plastering, rendering and tiling repairs within empty or tenanted homes. You will ensure work is carried out to a good professional standard and excellent customer service for the tenant. Helping to contribute to departmental goals of improving void turnaround times and achieving customer satisfaction.
We are looking for someone who is a proactive, with strong communication skills and a can-do attitude. Experience of working within in the construction industry and trade knowledge are essential for this role.

Bricklayer
Description
We are currently looking to recruit experienced, time-served bricklayers for one of our well established partner building companies.
Desired Skills:
For this role you’ll need to have the following skills and experience.
- NVQ / City & Guilds / or equivalent qualification in Brickwork.
- Knowledge of this role’s industry best practice to an intermediate/ advanced level and experienced in how to use this knowledge to ensure high standards and safe practices.
- This role will require working in customer homes, so a friendly and professional attitude is needed.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety and safe practices
- Experience of working in social housing
- Please note due to health and safety reasons, all operatives wear RPE and so we operate under a clean-shaven policy.
- A full UK driving licence.
Roofer
Description
We are currently looking to recruit experienced, time-served roofer for one of our well-established partner building companies.
Desired Skills:
For this role you’ll need to have the following skills and experience.
- Undertake repair/renewal roofing works.
- Communicate effectively with the scheduler, residents, and line manager.
- Work safely and in compliance with Health & Safety and safeguarding requirements
- Remain up to date with technical and legal requirements of skill area.
- Work in partnership with other operatives to complete repairs when required.
- Complete work sheets detailing work undertaken and materials used after each job undertaken, via a PDA.
